i can't sleep. i've been up since 7, since that's what time we usually wake up for class; now i can't even sleep in on the weekends. this is bullshit.
here's what's been up lately:
wednesday night a.k.a. karaoke night: went downstairs to the bar, it was tomek's last night in krakow, so they had like 3 or 4 bottles of vodka on the table (which, by the way, are like $5!!!). there were only 5 of us drinking, i remember like the first 5 (double) shots, which came out to the first two bottles ... the rest of the night is a BLUR ... the next thing i remember is falling asleep and thinking "just keep breathing" ... apparently i was in love with everyone, and monica kept falling over, she woke up with a bunch of bruises, i woke up and still went to class. what a trooper.
(note to self: cut down on the drinking - just say no!!!)
i have to say, however, i've only paid for a grand total of two drinks the whole time i've been here.
thursday: took a nap after class, then met kasia in rynek. went shopping for a while, met her bf david, more shopping, went to ikea (got another down comforter for here ... it's a glorious change from the old, scratchy blankets they have in the dorm), then spent the night in her townhouse (which is hooked up to the max ... 3 floors, it's really nice).
friday: slept until 10 (woohoo) but dicked around until noon, when we got ready and packed our stuff up and started running errands (and i dragged that goddamn duffel bag around all day). not too exciting, got to zawoja around 9, ate dinner, and went to sleep.
so anyways, it's saturday. i think we're just gonna go around visiting people today; kasia works tonight so we're gonna go out to her restaurant and have a few drinks.
